Head Girl’s Message

Albert Einstein once said, “Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.” For over two centuries, the Congregation of the Religious of Jesus and Mary has lived by this ideal, nurturing young minds and shaping generations with wisdom, compassion, and courage.

For me, Convent of Jesus and Mary, Ambala has never been just a set of walls and classrooms. It has been a second home; a place where dreams found roots, friendships grew into lifelong bonds, and where every challenge became a stepping stone to growth. Here, we learned not only to excel academically, but also to carry ourselves with dignity, grace, and strength, ready to face a world of endless possibilities.

As I hold the purple flag of our school high up in the school, I feel the heartbeat of every Cjmite—our shared hopes, our unspoken promises, our unwavering determination. Purple, the colour of dignity and depth, mirrors the values we live by, while the lessons of compassion and kindness are etched in our hearts forever.

Education is a keyring, where each book is a key but true wisdom is knowing which door each belongs to. At CJM education is more than books, here, every opportunity has been a gift, shaping us into individuals who lead not only with intellect, but also with empathy.

Looking back on my 13 years here, I see how every moment—whether in classrooms, on stage, or in the quiet corners of our campus—has shaped me into who I am today. The red walls of our school whisper of courage, while the white radiates the wisdom and serenity that guide our actions. CJM has been the hand that steadied me, the voice that encouraged me, and the light that showed me the way.

As I now prepare to step into the world beyond these gates, I carry with me not just lessons, but a legacy. A legacy of faith, compassion, resilience, and pride in calling myself a Cjmite.

Praised be forever Jesus and Mary.

The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.
